The purpose of LAUP is to raise up communities of faith-rooted leaders that live out personal and systemic shalom1 in our world.
|
OUR MISSION
In working towards the beloved community2, together we bear witness to a holistic gospel, engage the creative power of faith, and work to restore broken shalom. We equip leaders to live out sustainable, prophetic faith that engages every campus community, vocational field, and neighborhood in collective healing and liberation. Through weekend and six-week summer discipleship programs, we work en conjunto3, partnering with communities of color in Los Angeles to root participants in prayerful activism, intelligent love4, mutual conversion5, and spiritual resilience.
