_LAUP PLUNGES

Plunges are alternative spring break experiences of God's heart for the poor and issues of justice.  We will experience urban poverty and injustice, learn the biblical perspective on these issues, and will spend time working for the good of the city and its residents.  These trips are open to students from any faith background who are curious about God, Jesus, and the Bible.

LAUP PLUNGE DATES

March 15th to 20th, 2013:  Friday afternoon through Wednesday lunch of Spring Break.

For this plunge we will learn about God's heart for the poor and how to be a part of his presence in the world.  We will spend the week in South Los Angeles, we'll make a trip to Skid Row, and will interact with homeless, gang members, and urban youth.
